Crews for a Cause

Every day, charities around the world are working to make a difference for the people, places and animals they serve. Their success often depends on the philanthropy of others—but how can they succeed without more awareness from the general public? That’s where we come in. 

Crews for a Cause is a 100% volunteer run nonprofit production group made up of production assistants, producers, makeup artists, directors, cinematographers and everyone in between. We specialize in creating short form video content for great causes in need of telling their story. Our goal is to support and bring together passionate and empowered entertainment professionals to produce, film & edit videos benefiting good causes and people in need—at little or no cost to them.

ASSEMBLE A CREW
–

As projects are brought to our attention, we'll meet with and research the organization to better understand its mission. 

We then send out a message to specific volunteers in our network with information letting everyone know about the cause. From there, we build a team of motivated professional filmmakers ready to work on the project.

GET CONNECTED
–

After we find crewmembers willing to take on the project, we'll help bring everyone together. We'll connect the organization with our volunteer crew and they'll work together through the process step-by-step along the way.

It's our goal to make sure this is a positive and fruitful experience for everyone from beginning to end.

MAKE MOVIE MAGIC

We work hand-in-hand with each organization and cause to create customized content to drive awareness to their mission. 

We believe that by connecting entertainment industry professionals who love what they do, with truly deserving causes, we can all work together to make the world a better place. One video at a time. 

Black Outside reconnects black youth to the outdoors. With the knowledge that only 1% of Texas state park participants identify as Black/African-American, Black Outside, Inc was founded with the mission of expanding access, programming, and relevancy to both Black and Brown communities across Texas. We seek to not only diversify the outdoors but unleash a new generation of outdoor enthusiasts reflective of our country and state's beautiful diversity.
